Can I just ignore my reckless driving ticket in Virginia? The answer to that is yes, you obviously could but it wouldn’t be a very good decision.

You’ve got a couple things that you need to be concerned about if you’re charged with a reckless driving.

First of all and most importantly to most our clients it is a criminal offense and will stay on your record for the rest your life. This is something that could cause you problems in many ways in the future but even if you’re just more concerned about immediate consequences you are definitely looking at a significant insurance increase were you found guilty of a reckless driving. So, well yes you could just plead guilty and ignore it, I don’t think that’s a wise decision. There is more about this in our book – Solve YOUR Virginia Traffic Case, and feel free to call for a consultation or for a copy of the book.
